NordSec 2009

The 14th Nordic Conference on Secure IT Systems focuses on Identity and Privacy in the Internet Age, exploring policies, strategies and technologies for protecting identities and the growing flow of personal information passing through the Internet and mobile networks in an increasingly serious threat environment.

The Nordic Security Day on Wednesday 14 October hosts talks by international experts from industry, academia and the government sector, as well as a panel discussion.

The academic NordSec Conference on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 October hosts keynote talks and presentations of refereed papers published by Springer Verlag.

The NordSec Poster Exhibition provides the opportunity for Master's students of security and mobile computing to expose and discuss their ideas and research with other NordSec participants. The award for the best posters is based on votes cast by conference participants.

Since 1996, the NordSec conferences have brought together computer security researchers and practitioners from the Nordic countries, Northern Europe, and beyond. The conference is focused on applied IT security and is intended to encourage interchange and cooperation between research and industry.

Complete information about NordSec 2009, including the call for papers, can be accessed through the links in the left column.
