NordSec 2009 is held at the University of Oslo main campus in the building where the Department of Informatics and NR (Norwegian Computing Center) are located. The street address of NR and the Department of informatics is: Gaustadalléen 23, 0371 Oslo.

Travel

The easiest way from downtown Oslo to NordSec 2009 is to catch the subway, line 3, 4 or 5 going westwards from Jernbanetorget station (close to Oslo Central Station), from Stortinget station (close to the Parliament Building) or from Nationaltheatret station (behind the National Theatre), and then get off at Forskningsparken station. Walk down the stairs from the platform, go left under the subway bridge along Problemveien and turn left at Gaustadalleén. NR and the Department of Informatics building is on your left side 50 meters down the street.

It can be mentioned that the Oslo area has the main airport Gardermoen and the two regional airports Torp and Rygge that are served by all major European airlines, especially Scandinavian and the budget airlines Norwegian and Ryanair.

There are also train connections from Sweden and Denmark, as well as ship lines from Denmark and Germany.
